10/10/2019 Outlook Won't Open
Hello, like Magna Epos I have done everything to change my nat type to open, last week it was open until I downloaded the march preview update, from which everything has gone down hill. All the 8 necessary ports are open, and the uPnP and DMZ are enabled. I don't know what else I can do:/ My ISP says that the NAT is open and i have confirmed this myself through the user settings. I have a Sky fibre optic internet connection and the router model is SR101. Please assist, I cannot play online with friends or use Twitch or even join parties.
Firstly, as this thread is several months old you should start your own and detail your problems there. Secondly, if you read what taidara had posted above, you will see that when it comes to portforwarding, dmz, and upnp, only one of those should be used at any one time. They will conflict with each other if they are used simultaneously. Try just upnp first. If that doesn't work try just port forwarding. Then finally just try dmz. If this doesn't help please start a new thread detailing your problem.
I made a big mistake. I accidentally deleted my pst file for Outlook. Now Outlook won't open.
Reasons for the Error: 'Microsoft Outlook Won’t Start' When the Profile belongs to the older Outlook Version. When Outlook PST File is accidentally deleted or damaged. When there is incorrect configuration of the application. When the application is installed incorrectly.
The error message says the pst file cannot be found. Of course it cannot be found. I deleted it. I tried uninstalling Microsoft Office 2013, restarting my computer (Windows 7), and reinstalling. I'm still getting the same error message.
The web has plenty of sites telling how to repair a pst file, but I can't find any that tell what to do if the pst file no longer exists at all. What can I do?
Is there some way to create a new pst file without being able to open Outlook? Yes, but this was a newly installed Microsoft Office. The only thing I had tried to do was use the pst file that had been saved.
There was no ost file yet. What I think I need to do is either find a way to somehow create a pst and place it into the Outlook Files folder or find some way to work around it. The only other solution I can think of would be to format the drive, reinstall Windows 7, and start all over again.
That solution, of course, is out of the question. As much as I'd like to use Outlook, that's too extreme a solution.
I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I've installed Outlook 2010 after formatting my PC, then deleted it because of connection problems to Gmail. I've tried to install it again, but all my previous Gmail accounts setup have been saved(and thus I couldn't use Outlook for Gmail), so I deleted it again, but this.
